And running red lights seems to be the norm these days, at least around here. I saw two blatently run this morning on the way to work, and yet I never see the local cops doing anything about it - too busy catching folks going 40 in a 35 limit!

I was driving thru downtown yesterday, saw some idiots on a left turn not paying attention and sit in the middle of the intersection after the lights change, then both of them run the light even though there was space to back up for one of them. Lights went on on a cop car across the way, finally thought someone around here was going to get stopped, cop heads off in another direction. Look to my right and there's another cop car right beside me. :huh:
