I have seen bikes with wheelie bars on the street, but I've never tried it myself. I always took mine off before I loaded up the bike after a night at the drag strip.

You won't really notice a need for the bars on the street, but I guarantee you'll wish you had them if you hit the strip and get some REAL traction. Even with an extended swing arm that front wheel likes to come way up!

IMHO, they'd look cool but wouldn't be very practical on the street.

and a full set of hockey cards in the spokes to complete the ensemble. and the old extended fork trick as well with the smallest front wheel you could find.

I have this exact bike that was my dads when he was a kid.
5 on the floor, front and rear suspension, runs 9's in the driveway.
Who wants do line up?

And here's me on my current bike.

No cards in the spokes though...I did that when I was younger. I wanted a dirt bike sooooo bad.

Here is a pic of a bmx frame I rode to 1st place in the state of Florida for my age class in 1978. It is a 1977 FMF team replica all aluminum anodized, and very trick for its time. Laguna bought them out years later and I rode a Laguna until I got my Honda CL175. B)
