I know there are a few "turbo" guys here. You see big block turbos for sale but hardly any small ones such as this
try again... never mind, something is screwed up here!

Yep, something is screwed up here.
Back on the subject, I think a KZR member in Vegas bought a 650 Turbo a while back, don't recall what happened to it though.

Welded crank ??? On a 650 ??? Was it broken in half or something ?? Where DO these a-holes get these ideas !!??!!
Is a potential buyer supposed to assume that it's got a "cool" Z1 "racing" crank in it or something ??
I wouldn't even consider dealing with someone who insulted my intelligence with a statement like that, never mind the rest of his low-rent writeup. Doofus idiot...

yeah you beat me to the welded crank, maybe he means the nuts are welded on the rod bolts,or the bearings welded themselves right to the crank before they spun! looks like an old atp turbo setup;)

ATP made a set-up for KZ650's back then. Made a sweet little package then and I am sure now also. Ran like a scolded dog.

it might not be so bad i guess if price doesnt go any higher.throw some brakes on the front and a better paint job, although the front brakes might be pretty useless ifthe short little bastard comes on boost ad wheelies in all gears!

I had the ATP setup on my KZ650 back in 1980. Some odservations I had was the plate that mounts flat across all 4 intakes on mine was warped to impossible to not have vacuum leaks. Fixed that by several hours of hand sanding on a flat surface. After that like all turbos was basically worthless on the street because wouldn't idle smooth ect. Another problem was the KZ650 did not have enough exhaust flow to spin the turbo, so it took several seconds to get any boost at all. After that it ran pretty good, but the stock clutch began to slip, so enough of that for me. Later got the Z1R-TC and it was another real "winner" to say the least. I'll keep the turbo diesels, you guys can have them on gas, never again for me.

Did'nt Honda make a small cc turbo bike back in the mid 80's? I worked with a guy back in 87 or 88 that had something like a 500 or 550 cc turbo i wanna say it was a cx or ctx or something like that.
