I love being single

Mainly because if i was still with my ex there would be no way in hell i would be able to do what im going to this winter. I live in an apartment but have a garage, and that is were the kawis have napped over the winters. But i figured since i am going to tear my Z1 apart this winter why freeze in the garage all winter right? So what better place than my living room to work. I alread have the 650 in here right by the sofa. Next the 400 bobber will make its way right next to the 650. The living room tabe will be a fine bike stand, and the kitchen table will be a goot motor stand when i redo the z1 motor. Thank god the girl that runs the rental office is drop dead georgeous, and she really likes me, and i gave her countless rides on the bike this summer. She seen me pushing the 650 in my living room today, and asked if it was time for them to go away yet.

I hear that! I just wish I lived on the ground floor. It's a little tough getting the bike up a big flight of stairs. :ohmy: Or we could all use a wife like Sandy has. She loves his bike almost more than he does. ALMOST. :laugh:

LOL.....My ex wanted me to leave the kawi's outside so she could park her car in the garage, thats when i new it was time to break it off..........well that and she wanted me to sell my bikes and buy her a ring.......hell would have froze over before that happened. Ya sandy is a lucky man, i need to find a whife like sandy's.......one day that is....lol

Three is the charm...I am on my third wife, but we have been married for 21 years this year...and she likes bikes, lets me have the entire garage, and doesn't monitor what I do on eBay:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: She is the one who didn't blink the first time she came over and there was a GPz1100 in the livingroom...

i've been trying to move the bikes inside for the winter forever.
so far i have two engines and a ton of parts inside.
it's a slow process but i'm slowly winning.
i will know i won when i can sneak the frame in.
there is no way i can ever get away with a complete running bike in the house. something was said about me having a couple of pops and running a vent hose out the window so i can do laps or something to that effect.

someone needs to write up a universal petition for all of us poor souls who can't pull that trick off yet.

Ya,the Warden does love the kawi,that's for a sure.
And fact is,she wants me to leave it JUST the way it is,without doing the ZRX conversion to it,that I've been planning on doing for a few years now.
I have all the parts needed,but it looks like it won't be happening.I'm ok with it though,because I haven't really convinced myself that it WOULD be worth all the work.The bike has taken us to SO many places over the years,just the way it is,with no complaints...so I think I WILL just leave it alone(some more MINOR mods though,lol)

ahhh the good ole days,,, I had piglet aka harley legerro in the bedroom, then got married,, now single and I am lucy enough to have a decent shop to work in, along with race cars and such..

Yup, it's the single life for me!

I lived with a girl for a few years. We were very much in love and all that was real nice, but every time I went near my bike to try to get something done on it she'd find some "honey do" for me. I think she was jealous of my bike. When she broke my heart and left me, I finally had the time to devote to my bike!

Yes you are 100%, when i was with my ex i was sure she was jelous of the old kawi's and thats why i never got to work on em. So being single sucks sometimes, but for the most part im fine with it.........lol
