I Lost My Only Key!!! HELP!

Today I sold my cx500. When I took the key off I put the key to my kz in my pocket and went back to work. I deliver pizza. I keep the change bag in the same pocket that the key was in. I must've pulled out the bag and dropped my key in the process. I cant find it and its the only key I have.

IS there any way to get one made using my vin# ?

please help, I was gonna use the money from the cx500 to put my kz on the road on monday. No point now I cant even start the damn thing.

Take the bike or the ing out to a locksmith who handles motorcycle keys and he can make you a couple , my daughterin law lost hers and she took the ign in (they cant make it from your vin # ) it cost her $12.00

find the key # on the side of the ignition switch.
Do the 78's still have the key # on the seat lock?

Get your 3 digit key # and ask for a copy from a member here or look on ebay. There was a large batch of keys this week.

Your key # should be around "788-#798 range for a 1978.

just pull off the ignition switch, the numbers are on the bottom of it, take that and your registration to a locksmith and have a new key (or 2) made.
They require proof of ownership here in Kent Washington for the duplications without a key.
