Front fairings? was created by ghunt81
Awhile back I rode my bike on the highway and it was very unpleasant to say the least, mainly because I was constantly being buffeted by the wind.

I was looking at getting a windshield, when I came across this-

That thing is cheaper than about any windshield I've found. Would it be comparable to an actual windshield at making highway riding easier/better?

Actually, these windscreens are pretty small. I have them on two of my scooters and while they do aid in lessening buffeting, they don't function as well as a full fairing/windscreen...but they do look good:)

I installed a Buel Blast flyscreen on my old naked GS500 and was surprised at how much it helped get the wind off my chest. It was also super simple to install.
I currently ride GPZ's with the OEM windscreen and I love them. They pop up used on EBay for not to much. I even have one for a 750 I got super cheap thinking it would fit my 550 but I was wrong. I would sell it to you but you would also need a square headlight, mounting supports and a screen.
