Front End Swap was created by tw..
I've finally decided to swap the KZ front end for a zx7 fron end. So far everything is going good but I'm wondering what to do for headlight ears to mount to the front forks. The zx forks I believe are 41mm or 42mm. Any suggestions on who would sell custom fork ears of this size? I'm going to try Drag Specialties tomorrow.
After I get past the the fork ears it's just finding a way to mount the key switch and guages.

I have a GSX front end on my 750E, and it has 41mm tubes, so I've been looking around and found a number of places that sell headlight ears that fit.
You do need to know the exact size of your tubes though.

This place has a list that says ZX7R fork tubes are 51mm diameter. Nice selection though.

Thanks Steell. Thats just what I was looking for. The front end I'm using is from a 1990 ZX750 which are the regular forks. I'll head out to the garage tonight to measure and order tomorrow.
