To buy or not to buy

This past Saturday my brother-in-law were out for a ride and decided to check out some bike shops in the area. All we have around here are a Yamaha, Honda, and Hardley dealer. The only kaw dealer does'nt carry any bikes just atv's. Anyhow, we went into the Yammie dealer and was looking around (nothing interested me) but was there with my bro. The salesman said they had some used stuff in the back if we wanted to look so we went thru the the doors and the first thing that jump out at me from way in the back of the shop with a layer of dust on it was a 1984 Kawasaki Voyager. It had all the bells and whistles, 68,000 miles and was just a nice looking bikes despite all the dust. The salesman said it has been there since he started working there about a year ago. He said the PO rode it in a traded it and he did'nt know any more about it. I asked for a business card, He went and got one and said his boss told him that $1,000 would buy it. I am thinking of buying to flip. What do you all think worth the money?

An '84 is going to be a 1300 cc bike. The 1200 cc (Voyager XII) came out in '86.
I don't know anything about the 1300s, and I've got no idea what it's worth. Take a test ride... you may just decide to keep it!

A 1300 Voyager depending on condition and with those miles will probly bring 1500 - 2500. I paid 2000 for mine with 19k on the clock.

BEWARE!! DO NOT RIDE THIS BIKE!! It will immediately choke off all your senses, forcing you to keep it.
