I saw this on ebay and for anyone in So Cal this would be a smokin deal. 3 complete engines for $30.00 you could keep the KZ 750 engine and either part out the other 2 or sell them complete. Someone could do real good on this deal.

Thanks John, I actually had you in mind when I saw that, is that anywhere close to you? That 750 might make a good spare for you to have, it looks to be from an 83 L-3 which were rated at 80 hp from the factory. Those used the same engine as the 82 GPZ750 I believe.

Santa Maria is pushing 250 miles one way so unfortunatly it would cost about $100+ in gas and a full days drive. Makes it a little tough for a $30 motor(s). I really wish it were much closer. Nobody would notice the little 738 on the motor in my 650...

Too late guys, I just scooped this one... Thanks Gringo and Bluemeanie, I can use the KZ motor for spares on my L3 project bike if needed. I'll let you know how it goes when I go pick the engines up.
By the way, the wifey is still in bed so i'll probably have to take her to breakfast to make up for this one:cheer:

Grant that's good to hear, I love it when one of our own gets a good deal. I could be wrong but based on the covers I think that is an L-3 engine one way to tell for sure is look for the oil cooler fittings on the front of the oil pan. If your wife is still upset after her batch of pancakes just show her the thread I started for SWMBO, after she sees pics of "Casa de Gringo" you'll be out of the doghouse.
