good link to a chart showing who has put CT's on their bikes, what they used, how much pressure it took to seat it...etc.

Personally with 13000 K on my bike this season alone and looking at my back tire now, I am sold and will be going over to the DS, probably before this season ends....

If I had a clue what you are talking about, then maybe I would have an opinion

But I don't.

What is DS and CT in reference to tires??

No I've never run a car tire on a bike but I've talked to several Gold Wing owner's who like them. They're also popular on Valkyries.

The only time I've seen it firsthand was on a friends Vstar Classic. I don't have anything to say about longevity or any potential safety concerns but I will say that I don't think it's suited to a bike as small as my KZ650. Aesthetically, I just don't personally think it's appealing and there are certain times when I'm pretty shallow in that respect.

Sometimes it's just better to look good than to feel good (on your pocketbook)

If I had a Rocket III or a Valkyrie...maybe, but it just looks a little funky to me. Like I should be at a track day and not on the road.

in my experiance anyway there is a reason why bike tires have a differant profile than car tires, bikes lean into a corner, cars steer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! goodyear used to make some really square profiled motorcycle tires they used to use lots of them on harleys.for me its really simple take a car tire and a motorcyle tire and lean each of them at around a 45 degree angle and tell me which one you would rather lay into a corner on,or if that dont do it go down to the track and watch a bike with a car tire trying to make adjustments as hes going down the track looking like hes on a sidecar trying to keep it out of the guardrail!;)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.
