Hello everyone!

HI all, how is everyone? I am doing fine, still riding the TL1000. It hasn't been without some issues though..
A week before I was to do my first trackday, the transmission started acting up. While in 3rd, and under load, it would jump out of gear. Not good, especially while leaned over in a turn. Pulled the engine, and found the problem(s). Three bad gears, and a broken output shaft. While I was trying to save up the cash for the broken bits, I went out and bought this:

I bought it for the wife, but I rode it back and forth to work since the TL was down. I have to admit, for an anemic 250, it is a blast to ride. I rarely use the freeway, and am able to use side roads to get to work. It is a feather compared to the TL, and is a lot of fun on tight and twisty roads. It now sits with 3500 miles on the clock.

I did eventually get the parts for the TL, had it running for a week, until the starter clutch failed and started to eat the crankcase. BOOOO!! To say I was upset is an understatement. I was really close to selling the bike as is, but didn't. I ended up finding a used engine with 26K miles on it for 300 bucks. I dropped that in and have been riding the bike since.
