Has any one run these tires on a sportbike? Any luck with them? I need some tires that can get some mileage of them and I'm not too concerned with being super sticky and cornering but that would be a plus. I would be putting them on my zx9r.

I don't have any experience with them but have a look at the Continental Road Attacks. They're suppose to have really good grip and yet still offer high mileage. I've read nothing but good reviews for them. The VFR, Buell Ulysses and some other forums seem to love them. I'll probably get a set for my Duc here in the next month or so. Oh and they're inexpensive compared to the Dunlop, Michelin, Bridgestones, etc.

I've gone thru a couple of Michelin's Pilot Powers on my ZRX1100. This includes numerous track days at Willows Springs, a trip to Arkansas from California, commuting detail and terrorizing the local gentry  .
Liked 'em well enough. They gripped well and wore surprisingly well. Only things is that they would sometimes slide (rear) when pushed hard. Went back to Bridgestones (002), but I'm not expecting to get much mileage out of them. But they grip so good.
You could also try Metzlers Racetechs or Sportech M3, both of which gave me the same result, but don't remember any instance of slipping.
Hope this helps.

I have been using conti road attacks on my TL1000 with pretty good results. I get around 7-9k out of them, and they grip really well. Well enough for me to drag knee.
