Just wanted to get your opinions on a KZ 750 twin road racer and what parts will interchange with the motor? I thinking of using a zx7 front end with a ZRX swing arm(stock looking rear),shorten the frame for a single seat and some other mods. Could pistons from an 810 kit work or will any parts from a 750-4 fit internally(springs, valves)? The bike is dated 1975.Basically it would be a modern version of a vintage cafe racer. I'm not that familiar with the twin,so any info would be great! Thanks. I'll try to draw it up and post a pic so everyone has an idea of what I'm trying to do.

If you do a search you should find a post I made describing the mods a guy did to get 90 hp out of his 750 twin roadracer.

I think 38's are to big for that displacement. I think more along 32's or 34's would be better. But that's my opinion. Thanks anyway.
Your sig says:
1980 kz1000g 1105 36mm Mikuni flat slides
You think running 38mm carbs on 375cc cylinders would be to much, while running 36mm carbs on 276cc cylinders is fine??
750cc divided by 2 is 375cc.
1105cc divided by four is roughly 276cc (276.25cc to be exact).
See the problem?
I discussed carbs with the guy running the 90 rwhp twin, he runs 39mm carbs on his bike, and he thinks my idea of using 38mm throttle bodies would work fine.
