KZR Member Roadside Assist - I was thinking about a new forum for this site that you could print off and take with you on long or even short roadtrips of KZR members who would be willing to help Kzr members in trouble on the road near them - with tools, transportation, acomadation? food, portable air, ect::
Mods Im not sure who to talk to about this but I think it would be a good thing !
It would mean that Members willing to help would have to post their names , addressess , ect:;;

Beer?!!! :laugh: Good idea Doug! There were a few members who passed along their info when I went down to Florida last year. Never needed the assistance, though it was comforting to know there might be someone close by willing to help hundreds of miles from home in a strange country (j/k of course ). An option would be to post your travel plans in the Rides section, and any members willing to help could PM their info? Some folks aren't crazy about posting their personal info on the web, but since PM's are between logged in members, that worry is eliminated.KZR members who would be willing to help Kzr members in trouble on the road near them - with tools, transportation, acomadation? food, portable air, ect::

This is a great idea - an MG BBS I belong to does it, and it works great. I have had to use it on one occasion, and been called upon once too! It gives a great sense of security knowing you can call on somebody - even if it is only to find a local parts store etc.
Can somebody set it up as a separate menu item?

Great idea, but I think people would be more comfortable if there was some sort of filter or something to stop the internet at large accessing their info, even making it members only still means that 10,000+ people can see it.
Maybe make it so that only people who have submitted their information can see the other entries?
