Be careful, wimun folk are sneaky! was created by RetroRiceRocketRider
My wife (The Warden) mentioned a few days ago that she had a surprise for me, but that I would need to leave the house this morning for about an hour.
So she wrangled a m/c ridding buddy of mine into dragging me out to breakfast, which I imagine allowed her the time to have whatever it is delivered and/or set up.
Either that, or it was a ploy to have Sancho over without distractions.
I figured big deal, just mow the lawn before you split and leave some beer in the fridge for me.

Anyway, this isn't the first time she's done this.
One time she gave me a matching pair of lighted curio cabinets to "display my shot glass collection properly".
Another time she gave me one of those hydraulic motorcycle lift tables.

So I arrive home after breakfast to see her and a guy sitting on the front porch.
She: This is the guy from work that I was telling you about who wants to get his bike repainted, and wants to see the paint job Mark Wing did on your bike to see if he'd like him to do something similar.....remember?
Me: Um, I THINK I remember you mentioning something about that.
So we head to the garage and I unlock and open the door, and s#!t howdy look what she gave me this time.....an '89 GSX1100F Katana! :woohoo:

Wow, this bike accelerates like a freight train compared to my other bikes, and soaks up the bumps and hubcap-sized potholes on the freeway like they aren't even there! B)

She wanted me to have something that I wasn't always needing to wrench on to ride, that way I can actually go full throttle into the repairs that I've been wanting to do on my KZ650 without worrying about having it down for an extended period.

It's been well cared for and never been downed, is ALL stock, only has 19,727 miles on it, and my wife scored it for $2K.
What do ya think, did she do good or what?

Man, I sure am one heck of a lucky (and spoiled) guy to have a wife like her. :)

Either that, or it was a ploy to have Sancho over without distractions. I figured big deal, just mow the lawn before you split and leave some beer in the fridge for me.

Chris, this is Sancho... She actually bought the bike for me, now get out, she's mine now.

I mowed the lawn and left you some Cervesa in the fridge, now go...
