My customer is getting ready to ship out to Army training, and he wants to ride his bike before he goes- and I am missing a couple minor parts, and I am hoping you folks could help a brutha out?

I was hooking up the throttle cable yesterday, and something seems to be missing- the part that holds the cable positively to the carbs- see the big pic below:

And I am missing the exhaust clamps for the headers- what clamps are swap-able, and if I don't have some- since I have no other J model bikes- does someone have some they want to get rid of? See pic below:

Here is the bike itself- it is a 1982 KZ750 Shaft drive-Spectre.

This may be the last chance for the guy to ride his bike before his season is over- he gets back in November!

you can get the cable thing from a bicycle and 2 small nuts that fit. get the part from the brake lever on the bicycle As for the clamp that is solely out of a motorcycle related association. Good luck.

Do the clamps need to be KZ750 specific or will the clamps off a Z1, KZ or KZ1100 fit? I have a few clamps for these bikes if they will fit. I just don't know if they will interchange or not. What's the spacing on the studs?

If you have the earlier clamps, just drill out the stud holes to the larger size......I beleive the only difference is the stud size. I have both at home. If I remember, I am an old guy, I will check and let you know......chris3

For a 750 or would a Z1 work?
