Tim don't scare me like that I read 25 and thought I'd lost a few. I just did a quick inventory and I have 4 in the downstairs BR, I just moved the Z-1 Classic from the DR to the LR (doing a little spring re-decorating :laugh: ) there are 3 on the front porch, 3 in the basement plus a titled frame (but that don't count) and in the driveway there are 4 plus a titled roller (that shouldn't count either) plus this one I just bought. That's all the Kawasakis, the Suzuki 550 partsbike is leaning against a tree in the back yard that shouldn't count either. So by my count I only have 16. Dr. Phil, who needs him? Unless of course he has a pocket full of money and is looking for a bike. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I finally got a chance to get some pics of this bike after doing some minimal cleanup to it. The bike was not quite as nice as I'd hoped it would be but for no more than I had to spend for it I guess I won't complain. The pipes have been drilled by a PO and there looks to be some damage caused by battery acid. I pulled one of the carb bowls and they look to be fairly clean. They will still need to be gone thru but I've seen much worse. I'm going to have to re-do the fuse box because currently it is a plastic cassette case.:S It has a busted turn signal in the front which is no big deal I have those kicking around. The compression seems to be good as does the vinyl on the seat still nice and soft and no tears that I can see. There is a small ding in the tank and I'll need to clean the tank out with acid. The rest of the painted parts are nice. The one thing I'm not too thrilled about is all the white rust/corrosion on the block and cylinders. On the plus side of things it does have a dyna ignition already installed.

My original thought on this bike was to do a full blown restoration on it. Now that I have it I'm not sure that's the way I want to go. Out of sheer laziness on my part I'm considering just slapping the 750 GPZ engine I have sitting around here in it to avoid having to clean up the existing engine. I'm thinking this one may be a long term project. I still need to finish up a few of the other ones I have going.
