Stopped at a gas station to fill the gas tank since I had 156 miles on it since the last time I filled up. Took 1.86 gallons to fill.

This is on my 750 twin, and I had been riding in fuel economy mode, but I was still astounded.

Forget the 1100, at $4.00 a gallon I'll keep riding the 750 twin :)

83.87 mpg, now that's fuel squeezing! :D

So that was the squeeking noise I have been hearing all the way here in Texas!! It was Steve's 750 squeeking every last mile out of a gallon of petrol...

I have a chance to get a 82 KZ1100 shafty for $795.00 that needs a little work it has 23k miles and runs.
I am really tempted to get it.
What you guys think?

I'm going to look at it on Tuesday.
If it looks as good as I hope I guess I getting a another KZ.
The good thing I have an 82 KZ1100 parts bike at home..

$795.00 runs sounds MEEEEENN but I am going to have to re paint it.

I was sitting here drying off after getting caught in a thunderstorm on the way home after doing a job when I saw your PM and replied.

Someone about 1/2 mile down the road bought the bike, saw it sitting outside on my way in this morning.
