I owned a '92 ZR750 briefly . Sold it to a guy who told me that it made all his dreams come true , go figure .

Imagine if it had the $2500 paint job from the eBay bike and went 155 !!

"Front tire will last another season"

Every time I hear or read about "season" somewhere, I have to stop and remember that some people don't get to ride all year round.

That's gotta suck.

Anyway, I like the ZR750, now that I've had a good look at it. Matter of fact it seems I have been turning my project KZ750E into a ZR750 unknowingly :woohoo:

Steell ,
If you would like to continue the transformation I happen to have spare '92 ZR750 wheels , rotors and swingarm laying around .

Here's another . This '83 750 is as fast as new 750's . Never mind that it has half the power and carries an extra 125lbs .

GSXR750 puts out what, 120 hp or so? Maybe 125? The 83 KZ750L (pictured) puts out around 80 hp I think.

If it had been a 84-85 GPz750 Turbo, then he could have said "As fast as, or maybe faster than, a modern 750", and if he had been talking about Lorcan's GPz750 Turbo, he could have said "Faster than a stock Hayabusa" :D

I've got the same bike and while it is fast for what it is, there is no way it will run with a modern 750 or 600 for that matter. Why is it that people think they have to BS someone in order to sell their bike?

He'd probably have better luck selling if he cleaned it up and did some maintainence . Maybe fix the leaky valve cover (or at least washed it before photos).
