2008 250R, highway? was created by TheDevilZX
My roommate has been dying for a bike ever since I brought my new one home.
He went out and bought a brand new "fire engine red" 250R, and has had a few questions that I havent been able to answer myself.
Hes wanting to know what the average speed on the highway, he says around 80 cruising he is busting RPMs and he does not want to bash the engine.
He also wants to know if it is normal for him to feel a little shakey on the bike on the highway at high speeds, he feels as if he would spill at higher speeds if it were damp out, is he being paranoid, or productively cautious?
Thanks guys.

I think your buddy is taxing the 250R...I suspect the bike was not designed as an open road screamer...if that is what he was looking for, then he should have started with the 500R:)

As far as I know he hasn't really ridden it yet. He took it home to Northern Saskatchewan and they still don't have good riding conditions.Pretty sure that's the same bike that Tony's brother bought.

Devil! Where ya been, bud? Haven't seen you around for a while.
Hey we want pics of the new bike... What's up with that 550 you've been tinkering on?
Just get him up on the old bike , and when he changes over to the 250 again he'll think he's just riding a really fast bicycle. No problemo.
Don't be such a stranger!
