I'm happy!!!!

My bike passed the anually national bike inspection without any remarks. Even though I was quite sure about it passing, you never know with these inspections.

In fact, the guy who inspected it had one of these when he was young. I was quite nostalgic about the bike and those times...

So now I can relax and enjoy the coming season.

Best to you all out there in kawa land...

Congrats!

I'm glad we don't need to have our bikes inspected each year. Here they only need to be "certified/saftied" when you change ownership.
After that it's good to go until you sell her.
Which is nice, because when you do some modifications, be it engine or suspension or whatever, you don't need to re-certify her.

If you were to be pulled over by the authorities, and they notice some aftermarket mods that don't look quite to spec, you may actually be called in.

I'm a little nervous because with the fairing I have, the mount covers the VIN number.

Some places I've heard your not allowed to have aftermarket exhausts.

Here they only big thing they check is that the bike is safe to ride.

You can put on every´aftermarket details you like, as long as it looks like a bike and is safe to ride. However, if you convert it to, for example, a chopper and make the forks longer etc, you may have to reregister it again as a new model.

Another thing they check is the sound of the mufflers. Not the esthetic side of them... :silly: but the volume of them. But there is a lot of tricks to pass the check anyway. Then you just hope that the police doesn't stop you...
