1st thursday!

Can't believe it snowed today:angry: and the first of the month is coming. Anybody in here from minnesota going to the gathering on thursday?

My dad went to Willmar Saturday for an army buddy's 80th birthday. He got there around 2PM and said he'd found winter.

I guess I shouldn't gripe!

What gathering are you talking about?

Greetings and Merry Xmas fellow Minnesotans. (It's cold and it snowed last saturday). I've been reading this site for a few years and thinking of registering. Then I remembered that I did register a few years ago. Dang, I hate getting old. I tried my name and password and it worked! Don't think I'll make this 1st Thursday. I have to meet with a contractor and the weather doesn't look the greatest. I will try for next month. I may have met some of some of you down there before. I ride a red 83GPZ 550 semi-restored and semi-custom. For those that don't know about 1st Thursday, on the 1st Thursday of every summer month at Dulono's Pizza on Lake Street and Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis is a motorcycle get-together with hundreds of bikes of all kinds showing. They have pizza and soda and it's a friendly atmosphere of motorcyclists.It usually starts about 4:30-5:00 and lasts till about 9:00-9:30. But no real set time. Hope I can meet some of you next month, Rick.

Living down here in Iowa its not much warmer than y'all up there. I really should hop on the bike and ride up there at least once this summer!

Wow that first thursday thing sounds really interesting. I might have to make a point of going to one. On the snow related note we got our 8 inches on friday night and whapeton got 13. I thought that was bad until I saw on the news today that park rapids MN got 50" as a total for the month of april. I feel bad for them.
