Cool! good to see riding is alive and well. Ride safe and keep the rubber down (at least on 1 wheel!)

Dale: How come you didn't steer them toward a Vulcan from the Big K ?? Very durable and good looking....in a cruiser-ish way.
Well, at least they're riding something....even if it IS a cruiser.

Well, I really didn't have a hand in steering them towards anything really. All three of these guys just popped up with bikes ... lol ! My son bought his bike at an estate auction, friend Steve had his Suzuki Bergman in for service when he decided to opt for a real motorcycle and my nephew just came across the little Honda ....

I personally would love to have a Mean Streak or even a Vulcan Drifter or Classic !!!

I was approved and almost bought a 2007 Vulcan 1500 Classic last year brand new. Dealer was giving it to me for $8300 OTD. Sweet comfortable bike. I just couldnt sign the papers and do it for the type of riding I do and the amount of time I would be able to enjoy it. The V-Stars are nice and 2 guys in work have them, I just like a bike with a fuel gauge. And the Mean Streak ??? Have you heard one with the "jug hugger" pipes ? Fantastic sound !

I do believe one of the big Vulcans is in my fairly near future ! (next year ???) The Mean Streak being at the top of that list.

Well my oldest son wrecked his V-Star already !!!! He didn't get hurt much .... just a rasberry on his elbow. He could have been hurt a lot had he not been wearing his helmet !!! Which took some heavy damage.

An old lady pulled out in front of him on wet roads so he laid it down. Managed to not hit the old girls car at all ... but did significant damage to his Yami. I'm guessing at least $1000 damage ... not counting paint ... jeez
