Yep, Allen Millyard is famous for that kind of thing.
He started off with 4 and 5 cylinder small bores made from 250 and 350 Kawi stroker triples and then graduated to adding on a cylinder to a 500 and, the coup de grace, a 4 cylinder 1000 made from an H2 (750 triple)!!! The guy that owns this H2 says it goes from a full tank to reserve in 30 miles !!!
Yes, ~2.8 Imperial gallons (~3.3 US gallons) in 30 miles !!!
He also made a V8 out of a Z1 and ended up with a displacement of ~1600cc. He's a nuclear engineer and his creations are works of art. You cannot tell his stuff from factory stuff.....well, except for the additional width of the engine and the extra pipe(s). A truly talented guy, IMO.
The story of the 1000cc H2 is in the November 2007 issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics, which is a pretty good Brit mag dealing with classic 70's and 80's Japanese street bikes.

Your can find spec on
www.dreadsbikersite.com
if that's the right ip I'll check in a minute. 200+ on the 2300 if I recall... There's a super souped turbo'd bike on there too.
Edit: The format has changed since last time I visited, but still and interesting read. The 2300 is also mentioned in a few back topics, but they may not be permanent.
(Dreads is still several hours of good reading.)
