Steve after reading the description of the bike the one thing you may want to check is if the owners manual is under the seat. I'm not 100% sure about this model but most Kawasakis of that vintage had a little hinged plastic compartment under the seat that held the owners manual. Look for a round plastic knob and give it a tug, it just pushes onto a rubber grommet (similar to a sidecover grommet)in the seat base. If this model has a document holder I'll be willing to bet you find the manual there.

No hinged flap on this one, if I remember right, I will look tomorrow. There is a small pocket under the tail section, similar to the slide out tray on my '77, but that was empty. I will for sure check on the hinged flap. Thanks.

Thanks. So do I. It still need a really good cleaning, that dust is behind and under everything, but it will clean up very nicely for sure.

Now, that's how to write up an eBay auction!

Here's hoping it does well for you.

I'm only about 10 hours away but I would guees it will be in the 7K range when it's all done so it's too rich for my blood. Anyone else want to take a guess what it will bring?

I was going to guess around $2500, but since it's already at $2025 with 5 days and 14 hours to go so it should easily blow past my guess. What was MSRP on it in '82?
