Went to the bike show

I took the bike out last week to a local car and bike show at Hooters here in Tulsa. I didn't really expect anyone to take much notice and I parked in the back since I showed up late and wasn't going to enter my bike anyways since it still needs a better paint job, but man towards the end of the show I was going back to put some stuff in my tank bag and I think I got held up for an hour at least talking to all of the people who stopped by asking me what bike it was and what work I did on it and that they thought it was great and an awesome example of a "home-build" that turned out well. I thought it was pretty cool. I wish I had my camera. My friends took some pics but mostly of the Hooters girls, go figure.

I have respect for someone who (functionally and fashionably) doctors up an old machine and makes it their own.

nice job davo. thats a nice feeling when others notice your eforts isnt it.well done man.

There is a lot to be said for building your ride instead of writing a check for it. You should be very proud, nice looking bike.

One of my buddies sent me a pic from the bike show, it doesn't have my bike in it, but the content is good enough. We were actually doing a promo for a charity race me and some buddies are hosting where adults ride little kid big wheel tricycles down a course (w/ obstacles). Anyways, some of the girls were kind enough to pose on the big wheels we were riding around the car and bike show
