How much?

Hey Guys, I got myself a 83 kz 550 a4 in good running condition. I am looking to sell it and was wondering how much it would be worth. It runs pretty good. I put new tires, chain and sprockets and fresh paint on it last winter. I also had the seat recovered as well. I just wanted to poll you guys and get an idea of how much to ask for it. Any imput would be great. Thanks

For several years the rule of thumb was a buck a cc for a runner and the price could go up or down depending on the bike's overall condition.

With the spike in gas prices in '05 and since, two bucks a cc seems to be the going rate for one that is ready to register and ride, sometimes more.

Remember that no matter how little you ask, someone is going to try and talk you down. Set your asking price accordingly.
