New Toecutter boots
10 Feb 2008 03:29
I've already had the helmet for about thirty years. Now I've finally found a pair of Toecutter style boots. They're early '70's Alpinestars:
I plan on using a similar get up for rat runs and poker runs and stuff. Still need the right kind of pants though.

Okay...you need an aftermarket 1/4 fairing and then you'll be there...but will you complete the picture and shave off one eyebrow?

Wow! I never knew Toecutter had a shaved eyebrow!
But I don't think I'll go that far.:pinch:
I do have one of them Miers ZR1 clone fairings, and I've seen those plastic bullet fairings, but I'm still trying to hold out for a frame mounted dunstall fairing, or something along those lines.

Well, you're probably not going to like this, but I only paid 50 bucks plus 15 shipping. I lost a couple of those auctions and tried a different route and posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a pair. Nice fella named Greg Bastek answered my ad. He sent me pics and I sent him 65 paypal bucks. Showed up in just under a week.
If you're interested, he also has a pair of gloves like Toecutter's.
He can be reached at hondaboy15@yahoo.com

I'm happy with my finds. The five strap boots i've never had. The other pair with the small metal pieces i have never had before.
If you do a search for hi point you can find links for mad max costumes and a link for a guy that collects boots. Roy
