nah, warp drive is what happens when i put the stock gearing back on it and drive for a mile instead of 1/4....stock its top end restricted at 186mph (300km/h)by a lower revlimiter in 6th gear. but it easily disabled if you know what to get:whistle:

i cant wait to get this thing back to the track. i just vibrate after every pass. talk about an adrenaline rush!
its really going to move once i hook up a blue bottle:evil:  that is if the work im doing to the motor doesnt pick it up :woohoo:

yeah no doubt the air is better up here, it just doesnt get as hot. the track is usually right around sea level on the portable weather stations. one guy that runs a blown alky camaro checks the air before every pass. a couple yrs ago we were at "-200 feet" at one point in the afternoon! thats awesome air:woohoo:
i was in the 6.20 range for the 8th mile with a best of a 6.19@ 119mph. should be high 5s when i get my 60' down to where it should be.

Good for you. I was out that way to get to St.Andrews and couldn't talk the people I was with into a short detour for me to see the track.

If I remember correctly my good buddies Greg & Geoff Pollard and the Raceworks boys TF- Dan Butters & Mike Law - did some match racing out there a while back.
