I didn't realize this until I found some Yoshimura literature recently but Moriwaki was Pops Yoshimura's son-in-law. Imagine my surprise....:blink:

Eddie Lawson rode a Moriwaki built rocket with a hot rod MKll motor in a road race frame in the Daytona 200. I think it was the first year they allowed 4 strokes back into the 200 .
Didn't finish but it sure sounded sweet until it broke, I remember he just propped it up against a wall with a few other dead soldiers, to be picked up at the end of the race. I think Cooley and Graeme Crosby also rode Moriwaki bikes, always nice stuff.
