The Classic Jap Show... pictures. was created by uk_kev
Today I have visited Donnington for the first time, for the classic Jap show that was/is held there. Now it may be the weather, or it may be something else, but to be honest the show was disappointing.
The turnout was poor in my opinion (others may dissagree) and the venue was dimly lit, and as usual the concessions were way over priced, £7:90 for a basic burger and 3 coffee's! inside the venue, the external vans were cheaper, and their food was better.
So as I said it was my first visit to the Classic Jap show, unfortunately based on this visit, it will also be my last.

Right here is a slideshow of the event,

Dude. You are so lucky.
I'd pay 7.90 for a sh*t sandwich,*and* eat it, if I ever got to go to a show like that around here.

Thanks for the pics, and posting them!

You are probably right, and I am being churlish, it is the start of the show season over here, and to be fair we are spoiled for choice, so it is easy to be over fussy about the show, But don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying to get in (that was £7-50 or $15-00), as I realise that venues and staff have to be paid for, but I do get a bit up tight over the consession charges, that burger and coffee's would be nearly $16 over there.

Jeez...for us (those that don't have a local non-Harley venue), that was pretty nice. I find it amazing that I live near a major international metropolitan area, and nothing like this happens...HD are nice but I'm sick of the assholes who ride them.

Thanks, Kevin.

That was a veritable feast for the eyes and overload for the brain! Nary a HOG or overdone "chopper" in sight! Thank you!

Other than a VJMC show, on this side of the pond the shows are heavily overdone customs. Richard Z has documented that well describing the shows his son has entered.
