Back then I wanted to get mags wheels instead of spokes.
About 5 years ago I found a C1 w/mags, all stock and ready to ride at a good price. I bought it too. It's my daily driver.
Then there was the 750 LTD on the cheap.
And the other 650 with another COMPLETE parts bike for less then what I paid for the 750!
Oh and the $25 parts bike (title pending) that was acutally less than 20 miles to go pick up....
Ummmmm....what was the question again?

Just waitign on Gringo to chime in. Should be interesting to hear him justify owning like 30 bikes
A mental illness is a really hard thing to justify, so I guess I won’t even try. I think I could point to pretty much any of the reasons already given by other members for owning so many of these old bikes. Plus I need something to do while drinking beer and I hate to watch sports on TV so that’s a good reason. It is far cheaper and a lot less work than raising show horses (one of my previous obsessions). It’s also less aggravation and cheaper than having multiple girlfriends (another previous obsession). Then there is the fact that I worked at a Kawasaki dealer from 77 until 84 and I remember all these bikes when they were brand new, so I guess there is a certain amount of nostalgia involved. Like the beer commercial said, why ask why?
