KZ1300 ? No Title

There is a 1980 KZ1300 listed on Craigslist locally for $500. Hasn't been started in 2 years. Need starter the guy says. No title. Is it worth messing with without a title?

You can get a title for around 100.00 online ,, like broadveiw title service ,, Seems cheap if it is not hurt ;)

Makes me wonder. "everything in nice shape". Now that's just a slight exageration. I'm sure only the starter is bad, that's the only reason it was ever parked. Other than that near perfect:)
Probably worth the $500 in parts though.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

The guy emailed me saying he owns a bike shop and the guy left it and wasn't "forthcoming" with all of the info on the bike. Then says there may be liens on the bike.

dont walk, but RUN away from that deal, there must be a reason a guy who owns a shop cant get some type of mech lien to produce a title
