Shift Light Bracket?? was created by 79MKII
Does anyone know of a source for shift light brackets? I'm looking for something that will mount to 7/8" handlebars or somewhere else if it will work on my KZ1000.

Any other ideas on how to neatly mount a shift light?

Thanks

Yea, I'd love to mount it right on top of the dash, but I tried that before with a radar detector and it cracked after a while. Any ideas for a bracket design?

Try schnitzracing.com or pingleonline.com. They have brackets.

You could do like I'm doing on my 900 'Stripfighter and install it where the ignition switch normally goes.

I had a spare gauge bracket and crappy dummy light cover that I was willing to sacrifice.

BTW, the pics are of the bike in really rough mock-up stage.

Later, Doug

I integrated mine in with my gauges. I made a bracket to hold it all together.

Yea, thanks. I'm watching it now and need to find out if my shift light will fit.

The other ideas are nice but I think a bracket would work best for my set up. I can't find them on Schnitz's web site and pingel told be they were discontinued. I've been searching eBay for a while and they don't come up very often.
