Hey RonKZ650

A few weeks ago I bought a bunch of 'Classic & Motorcycles Mechanics' mags. I got a few years worth and have been flipping through them each night at bed time. So last night I am reading the issue from April 93. I get to the "Show Us Yours" and what do I see? A half page write up and pic of Ron's 135,000 mile Z650. I can only assume it is yours. Not sure what your last name is but this guy is Ron H from Lakewood, Colorado. It has to be you right? Do you have a copy of the issue? I will try to scan it and post it for all to enjoy. Nice pic of 78 650 and 79 KZ1000 MKII. So sorry to say Ron I was thinking of you last night while laying in bed :dry:

I went to see Ron twice and it sounds like him, although that part of Colorado is off a little. Ron is in Wheatridge colorado, which is just the next city to the west of Lakewood, closer to the mountains. I have seen one of the 650's he has but I don't know which one you saw. If its the one with spoke wheels, it still looks new, like 2 years after it came out the store new. Keep up the good work Ron, and no more weird comments Kawtoy

Yeah but no body brags about being from Wheatridge. Lakewood is where it's at baby !:laugh: And I'm pretty sure Ron ain't gonna like the thought of some guy thinking of him while laying in bed.........:woohoo:

Thanks for thinking of me Yes I was in that magazine. I have it somewhere around. I actually live in Lakewood in a 1898 farmhouse, work in Wheat Ridge, so I'm basically in Wheat Ridge mostly.
