kz200 was created by choobs
im currently looking into a old kz200 for a cafe racer/el cheapo learner project.
iv gotten all my insurance/registration quotes into order but alot of places dont seem to have any reccord of a KZ200 only a Z200?
also: are there any engines that would be a drop in replacement on the KZ200 incase I need one in the future? I dont like my odds of finding a KZ200 engine here

choobs! Where are you located? Your location may answer some of the KZ/Z questions. You might explore the notion of a KZ250 motor drop-in...however, in North America, neither the 200 nor 250 are very common...most did not survive until the present.

choobs! I see, from another thread, that you are in Australia...that answers the KZ/Z problem...old Kawasakis are only called 'KZ' in North America, the rest of the world knows them as 'Z's'...so, KZ200 in NA, Z200 in Australia...same bike (except for whatever idiosyncratic safety nonsense the various governments dreamed up).
