My Christmas Present was created by roy-b-boy-b
I bought this 1100 Maxim and two Ninjas in Texas a few months ago for $200.00. I called my friend that was holding the bikes for me and told him to sell the Ninjas and keep what money he got out of them. He sold one for $250.00 and has the other one is for sale for $80.00.
As he is from this area he came home for Christmas. He gave me a call and asked when i wanted to unload my 1100.
I didn't know he was going to bring it and it sure made my day to get it home.
The bike has 11000 miles and will make one sweet ride.
It even has the factory security chain with it. Roy

$80 for a ninja?
next time you ride through rochester give me a call!
for $80, i'll take all the ninja's you have!
( i know that has to be a typo)

The Ninjas were 250cc. One was a 2004 model that had front end damage. It had 93 miles. The other Ninja was had the parts to fix the 04. I just don't have the time to deal with building another bike.
I had to put the Yammy in the truck shop where i work.I am out of storage room.
This bike will probably go to Ohio this year.
No typo on the price. $200.00 for three bikes. The 04 sold for $250.00 and $80.00 for the other Ninja.

Great looking Maxim. The seller should charge you with robbery though; what a steal!
Maxim 1100s were high on my search list last summer when I was shopping.

I pulled the carbs today. The idle jets were plugged. I spent a couple of hours cleaning. I'll try and fire the bike tomorrow before i spend any bucks on it.
It should make a great two up bike. Roy

I got the carbs on today and the Yammy fired up. It's hitting on all cylinders. There is some blow by but a tank treated with ring free should clear that up.
Now to spend some money on tires, fork seals, and, and, and!
The mechanic at work hung around after hours to see if it would fire. Jamie and i are batting 1000 on firing these old bikes up. Roy

I rode the thing Saturday. I had the suspension too rigid and the ride was rough. It pulls good but is geared as tall as a Georgia pine. Roy
