i want to remove the tank and be able to work on the bike while it's running.i know they have this,do they sell an iv looking thing that i can fill with gas and run a line to the carbs or did anyone make one?links and pics please :kiss:

A lot of guys just use an old gas tank off a lawn mower. They say it works well.
78 650-C2, Stock engine, Jardine 4-2 Exh., 17-38 sprockets, dyna ignition and coils, coil wiring mod, carb mod.

you can build just about anything, I have put a hose barb on a coffee can and hung it fron a chain with a hose on it, did the lawn mower tank deal.
I have even set the tank on a shelf and ran a long hose to the bike

That's what I use, I have it zip tied to a clothes hanger and have a plastic inline shutoff valve. Works great.

I use a moutian dew bottle! I found that the cap/nipple for an empty bottle of gear oil fit on it nicely...then just run some rubber hose and done!

i did the lawnmower tank myself.

be careful, it would be a shame to burn your bike down, not to mention your shop/garage/home.
