more kz's in Michigan

It seems like these bikes keep popping up nowadays
here's a 900 in Grand rapids. I have no idea about it, but it's only $200 grandrapids.craigslist.org/mcy/485589338.html

Here's a 550 in TraVerse City, in bad shape, but it's only $150

This one's a little pricey, but if you want a "new" bike, it might fit the bill

Is it normal for so many people to unload their bikes for so little money this time of year?
This is still my first year actually being a motorcycle owner, but this seems a little too good to be true. I've run into at least 10 very inexpensive KZ's in the last month alone.

Also, let me know if I'm being helpful posting these bikes. It seems like I might be wasting people's time posting all these bikes for sale, but if I've been a help to anyone let me know

What a shame, only 11K on it and it's outside freezing to death! Too many low milage KZ's that are trashed early in thier life! Brings a tear to my eye.:(

Yeah, it's a funny thing about living in Michigan (or any northern clime for that matter)...

You are "forced" to walk away form your hobby/love every winter...

And you are "granted" the opportunity to rekindle the relationship each spring... many do not...

Keep the ads coming. They ARE helpful. I have several friends looking for 550's (that one was a little too gone, though).

The KZ400 is kind of a question mark. Why not put a "real" picture in. I doubt he took off the mirrors and had the bike suspended upright magically with no side stand. That's just a Kawasaki brochure picture.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

what are you talking about Ron? That's how we do it in Detroit. We can't ride 5 months out of the year, so we work on our "other skills". Everybody around here has their bikes floating in the middle of a perfectly white room.
