250 triple 2 stroke??? was created by themachine
i was talking to one of the local parts guys today at advanced auto, i told hima while back to keep an eye out for any old kawi's, especially 2 stroke triples.

anywhoo, he told me today a friend of his found a 3 cylinder 250cc kawasaki 2 stroke motorcycle, early 70's complete in a barn with good pipes and a locked up motor, but no title and he's only asking a 100$, the guy who found it referred to it as an h1 250, and he's supposed to know his stuff when it comes to bikes as he is an avid collector/restorer

is there such a thing as an 3 cly 250 2 stroke kawi? or is it what i hope it is(500cc).

also, (different bike) is a 750 h2 with a frame, motor, wheels, forks,a rear fender and some other usless crap worth a 100$ titleless? needing full restoration, and would this same bike togeather with a h1 500 (parted, locked up motor, no plugs) and another parted 350/500 worth 200$

my gt750 suzuki gave me a bad itch that i never got to scratch, because i never got to ride it,:(

It was called the S1. It was either released in 1972 or 73. Most likely 72 along with the H2 introduction. If you can find any H2 stuff definately buy it if the price is right. Parts are few and far between for H2 series. Probably few and far between for all the old triples.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

IIRC, their were 250, 350, 400, 500, and 750, two stroke three cylinder Kawasakis.

Personally, what I'd really like to have is a no cylinder Suzuki RE5 (Wankel (rotary) style motor). :)

Sorry about the highjack.
I'd like to get a 2 stroke tripple some time.
I had the chance on a KH400 a while back, but the Warden didn't like that idea. :pinch:
The 400, being one of the last in design was supposed to have one of the better designed frames.
Less squirley. :woohoo:

There is such a thing as a 250 triple, they were called the "S" series, S1 S2, etc. I have a complete 250 triple with a title if you are interested. There was also a 350 triple and a 400 besides the H1/KH500 and the H2 750"s
