KZ1000 on Lethal Weapon 3!!!!

I saw this movie again yesterday (as I am rewatching the whole Lethal Weapon series) and realized that the Police Bike is a KZ1000!! When I was younger I didn't pay attention to what bike it was.

Naturally I listened to the motor more than anything else. Once again, I felt that KZ pride flowing. It was awesome.

Any thoughts?

My only thought is that the KZ1000P is and always will be the ultimate Police bike!!

In 1979 I had the pleasure of painting all of the new Honolulu 1000s from the ussual black and white to their blue and white colors. A total of twelve in that batch. That was a real honor. Just for the info, they standarzided with "Ditzler" (PPG) base white lacker with overcoat of blue enamel at that time. They had their own side cover emblems also.
