Vintage Bike OC Meet, Sunday, Nov 11

KZr member JoeK has organized these meets in Huntington Beach, and the next one is this coming Sunday. I haven't taken a long ride in a while, so I'm going to try to make this meeting, see some old bikes, and eat some pizza.
If you want to go, post up and we'll meet up and ride in a group.

Well, it looks like we're in for RAIN on Sat & Sun. I'll watch the weather, but if it looks wet down in OC, I'll have to pass.

I done growed up in Fountain Valley, and remember that area very well. Oh how I miss the beach. Sweatshirt weather here at the beaches just about all summer long, is not the same. IT'S NOT THE SAME!!!

That will be a "No I'm not attending" comment.

Sweat shirts? When I visit SF,(several times a year), I rarely wear a jacket. I remember walking down mission seeing homeless guys wearing heavy jackets and I was in a short sleeved shirt. People look at ya rather strangely, especially when it is foggy:P

Where do you visit when you visit? Do we already know from your hints? :blink:

You ought to try riding your street bike through the city. That's a real eye opener. Taxi's, busses, people walking everywhere with a Starbuck's Coffee in one hand, and on the cell phone in the other, crossing the streets whenever and wherever they want, no parking... Oh how I miss the 'burbs.

I have an office in Emeryville, just across the bridge. I service reprographic equipment, Large format Plotters and copiers for Architects and engineers. I go up to Santa Rosa, over to Auburn, Down as far as Monterey, when I am up there. I used to live in Mountain View a few years ago.
