I am thinking of buying a small box and pan brake to bend up a proper fender eliminator. I have a sheet of alum diamond plate, and a small drill press.
I am thinking that i could make 10 or more of these fairly easily, so i am wondering if anyone is interested in one? They would be made to fit my bike a kz650 c1 (as i have no other bikes to compare to... )
What do you think?
Good Idea, bad idea?
anyone interested?
Input is welcome!!

I may be interested.
The way I did mine uses a thick plastic telephone book cover, sourced from a phone booth  , for the fender.
I'd like a metal one if the price was right and the look was cool!
I've made a few different brackets for the tail light over the years. Playing with how far the tail light sits back. Some adjustment in that area may be difficult to achieve in what your doing, but is a thought.
Here's a pic showing the lastest brackets and part of the phone booth

Adjustment would be difficult, I basically it would be limited to the position of the mounting holes/ the length of the plate used. But the holes could become slots like the fender eliminator posted from japan...
Right now i just wanted to see if folks were interested, so i could convince my girlfriend that buying the brake is not a stupid idea!!

Just wanted to share a couple pics of the fender eliminator that I made for my bike. Still going to smooth a couple edges and paint it, but it is basically done.

I was planning on buying a brake and maybe a shear so I could play with sheet metal...but I blew all my extra cash before that happened. So now I am gonna make just one at my old high School (my old tech teacher thought it was a blast to see me again and offered me run of the shop after hours...)
Soooo my plans to make up 10 or so have died (I would not have said anything but the tread was brought back up)
BTW very nice design, simple and easy...
