One interesting twist on this mentioned to us by a customer. Some dealers are going to hate this latest parts status enhancement.

After looking up some parts online on this new Kawasaki web site, the parts status showed active on a bunch of parts. Armed with a parts list of active parts our customer goes to the local Kawasaki dealer where the idiot behind the counter looks over the list and gives his canned response "those parts are no longer available" - and promptly gets chewed up and down by a customer who knows he's lying through his teeth...

I think it's time to bait a few of the unsupportive dealers...

Does this mean that a status of "cancelled" means it's no longer available??:(

I'm totally bummed because I just ordered all of the parts to rebuild my clutch actuator and the retainer is no longer available. Now I have all of the other parts coming and no way to use them. My retainer is shot and was the only reason I tore it down to rebuild it anyway. It's the part with the holes for the ball bearings, part 13197-004, no supersession info either. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Johnny's does have a ton of NOS parts. They've been buying up NOS inventory for a number of years and have a good selection of the hard to find Kawasaki parts. Not cheap, but when you are desparate for a part, they can help out.
