Meeting of 3 650s.

Went for a ride with a couple KZ riders today.
I had a great ride with Jim (intrudin) and Ron (zixxerboy).
The weather was great, nice sunny skies.
I had a bit of problems with side winds throwing me around sometimes. I think having a fairing is catching the side wind more compared to my naked riding partners.
Jim led us through some nice areas around Fergus and Elora here in Mid-Southern Ontario. We had some nice at speed sweeping corners. Jim likes to blast off from each start. I think his gearing on his D model has something to do with that.

We rode a loop back towards Orangeville, where Jim lives. He had to get home around noon as he has family visiting.
Then Ron and I went further on to a popular riding road not far North called Hockley Valley. We switched bikes to get a feel of another 650.
I really wanted to do that. Try another 650 to see/feel the differences.
I found I noticed my bike has a bit of a flat spot from 2000~5000 rpm compared to Ron's C3. His seems to have a steady pull all the way up, as mine does not have as linear a pull at lower revs, but then pulls from 5000 rpm and up. I might have to do some carb adjusting to compensate.

Great photos of 3 great looking bikes! Thanks for posting Rob. Lovely countryside up there. Hope you got a chance to stop in Elora - there's a couple of nice pubs there. Sounds like you guys had a blast.

Yes, what a day for a ride. I got out for about an hour and it was just about perfect. There were lots of bikes on the roads. Hopefully we have a few more riding weekends
left

Great riding weather Rob - thanks for sharing. Not much like that here I'm afraid, as remnants of a storm off the West Coast has hit us with wind, rain, and snow on the mountain passes now for about a week:(

Supposed to be +18C on Monday. Perfect for a ride out towrds the mountains. My buddy Rob (Greenmeanie on here) is supposed to be coming along on his KZ900 hot rod if he can escape the notice of his SWMBO. Well, we'll see....
