A friend and I were talking at work today, after I told him about my experience this morning, and we agreed we should have t-shirts printed ... "Expect Stupidity" on the front, and "You won't be disappointed!" on the back.

Bummer man, glad to hear you weren't too bad and the bike sounds fixable. Did the guy in the truck stop? It dose seem like more wrecks this year than other years past.

...don't know if the extra exposure is worth it. It's really great therapy for me to ride, but not at the expense of my family.
How do you guys balance the risk with the joys?
Insurance policies: life, disability income, and medical.
And ride like you're invisible, or better yet like everbody's trying to hit you.
Of course you've also taken the m/c rider safety course.
Properly maintained bike, especially brakes and tires.
