I thought they were called "Widow Maker" because of their evil handling, at least they were the worst handling bikes that I ever rode :woohoo:
I wonder if any H2 has ever sold for $20k or more?

I know I may be a "re-wire" snob, but he doesn't mention the wiring and it looks somewhat unkempt, for the amount of money he's asking.

to me that seems like a stupid pile of money for a 72'. i'm cheap and all, but 18.2K come on! that thing tops should be about 10K. if it was 69' that just came out of the crate i could see 20k

Re:
10 Oct 2007 07:37Well, flht, I assume you mean an H1....not an H2, as pictured.if it was 69' that just came out of the crate i could see 20k
As to the price for the "restored" H2: anything is worth what someone will pay for it at any given time....and, apparently, there's a LOT of disposable/discretionary income floating around looking for a place to be spent right now. It'll be interesting to see if there's a taker out there for this one at the asking price.
Of course we all know that no one should "invest" money in anything with t!ts or wheels.....right??
PS: Apparently the seller was out riding instead of attending his grammar/spelling classes. I, personally, would NEVER buy anything from a functional illiterate.
Elitist ?? Well, maybe.....but this rule has worked well for me for 40 years.

ya i was speaking of an h1.it seems the first year stuff ia always the gold mine. i had a cb750 about a decade ago. manufactured in 12/69, which still had the sandcast motor. the bike looked like it was stored poorly in a damp swamp, but it was what people wanted and that bike made me alot of money. i guess i am some what blessed that i am attracted to bikes that others do not find that desirable...kz 400's and such.
