Hi Don, I will shoot some pics of it later today when I get back from the shop. My son and I were kicking around the idea of painting it black instead of leaving it red. We'll see.

Hey Don, Bought the 84 ninja today and agreed to purchase a trannie on ebay another bud here told me about. Took 2 pics of the 750 today but because of the shade and sun you cant tell much detail. I will send them anyway and take some more. Have to figure out how to attach them here first. Dont know what the shipping is going to be but the trannie and clutch was $25! I am tickled!

Hi, my name is Lou and I'm a broken-bike-buying-aholic. (And I know many of you are worse off than me, but an addict can always spot another addict.)

Jaguar, you will be in a 12 step before you know it if you buy that Ninja. I know it's calling your name. I know you can justify it. We all can. But the madness must stop somewhere!

Seriously, the cheapest and fastest way would be to just get a used motor and "throw it in", and keep the bad motor as a spare. Of course, then again, that's why I have seven spare motors laying in the basement. Like I said, don't become an addict. :P :)

Hey, The motor was running fine when they took it out. There was just noise in the trannie like a gear broke. Someone here sent a link to ebay on a trannie and I got it for 25 plus shipping. Look, buying and working on Kaws is chickenshit compared to fixin on BMW's! Been twistin the throtle on a k1200rs for the past few months and my bud who rides up front has a 1200 gs. He hotdogged it a little too much last week and when the cylinder hit the road, assholes and elbows is all I saw. He is ok (ego was crushed) but he did about 3000 bucks damage @ 15 mph. I wont complain about a classic superbike for 500 bucks (9.5 out of 10 cosmeticly) w/ a bad trannie! Everyone here in race city has new stuff so this bike will be the shit when it rolls up purrin like a panther. Someone is building a bike track about 25 miles away that will be ready in a year and I cant wait. Joe
