Yesterday I attended a local rally here. i guess it started as a block party years ago and has just grown and grown. Here's a link
Ralph Waynes Backyard Vintage Bike Show

Anyway of course none of my riding buddies could attend (possibly my deodorant?:woohoo: ) so I went by myself. As I got close I started seeing bikes and three harley guys pulled up next to me and one asked what year my bike was. When I told him he said it looked great.Three blocks of a neighborhood with bikes parked on both sides.3-4 hundred bike I bet.
It was pretty cool. Lots of harleys of course. BMWs, Ducatis, more Guzzis than I think I have seen . Just a few crotch rockets. Only saw four KZs. A 900 I think was coming in as I was leaving.A 650 just like mine with all the touring bags and fairing and a KZ1100 also all bagged up. Under the tent where the what I assume were the trailered in bikes was a red 76 LTD that was pretty nice. Some old Triumphs and Nortons and stuff. Three nice examples of Honda CBXs. Man they have a lot of pipe!
I was sort of disappointed in not seeing more KZs represented but also like that I don't have such a common bike.I have a 77 XS650 Yamaha too and didn't see one good example of it. I was surprised to only see a couple CB750s , not many CBs of any displacement, which I thought would be more common.
Anyway if you like here's a link to the pictures i took. Bike show
Can't get that first link to work..??? Could a mod help?

Yea, I've always liked those CBX's. Yes, that is a lot of pipe (beautiful tho) It's also a lot of carb to pull off and rebuild! :woohoo:
