05 r6 rear set conversion for 77 kz650d

i came across a good deal for a complete 05 R6 rear set.just wondering if anyone has did this conversion. i searched and have seen that people have modified they're stock components or purchased a gsxr rear set. id like to know if anyone has attempted this task.

the r6 runs the shift rod over the shifter, most people sue other rear sets that run the shift rod down under the motor. I looked at r6 rear sets bu when i saw them on a bike i thought that it would be to difficult to convert.

I used the '04 GSXR600 and found them an easy install on my 650.
Being over or under the shifter has worked for others. When on top, the shift pattern will change to one up, four down. Takes a little while to get used to.

thanks guys.. seems like running a suk rear set is the way to go since its already tried and true... ill just have to pass up the r6 set...ill post pics once i get a hold of a set..
